Born into a family of Lucid hunters, Ava has spent her life being taught one certainty: humans are the enemy. Her initiation should prove she belongs. All she has to do is kill one.
In a world fractured between Lucids, humans and Ferals, a moment of mercy becomes an act of defiance — forcing Ava to question the hatred she inherited, the family she loves, and the uncomfortable possibility that humanity has nothing to do with being human.
